Vendor TAX registration information

Hi,

Does anyone know where can I store Vendor TAX registration information?

To my understanding I should set up the registration type and then link it to the vendor addresses. Is this correct?

    No, for VAT registration for vendor use the "Tax Exempt Number"

    Not sure why Microsoft is using this confusing field name, but this is the field that contains the VAT ID for the vendor on an AP invoice transaction.

    Hi Georgek,

    Yes, you need to setup registration type and link it to related vendor addresses. It will work

    Do you manage to get this value to default into an AP journal? do you manage to get this value to default into a vendor invoice?

    I think that other than being able to set it up on the vendor this value is not used anywhere else
