How to get object ranges for local container as of Cloud

We are using business central SaaS. Testing and debugging on cloud slows down the development speed.

Is it possible to get the object ranges as of cloud version or a license file that maximize the object ranges for the local container without purchasing business central Prem

I have the same question (0)

On a Docker container you can load your partner license and so using your custom range. Just use Import-NavContainerLicense <pathOfYourLicense>

Thank you for the reply, but we don't have license for on prem version. If i am not wrong for cloud version Microsoft doesn't provide any license, that is subscription based.

Kindly guide what could be the possible solution for cloud container

Yes, on SaaS you don't need a license. But on a Docker container you need it. A docker container is loaded with a demo license that permits you to create objects on 50100..50199 range. Otherwise, for other ranges you need a partner license.

It seems we need to get on-prem license for business central.

    Any other possible solutions.

    That is correct.

Dynamics 365 Business Central is sold through credited CSP partners.

Credited CSP partners or reseller should file a contract with Microsoft that would let them have access to partner licenses.

Partner license has more flexibility and is a must in professional development.

Thank you, can you share some links where i can get some more info.
By the way i am developer and don't have much understanding of licensing stuff. if we have subscription for the SaaS version, can we get partner license for free for local development stuff.

    Unfortunately not.

You must stick with a CSP partner or Reseller that has a signed contract for on-premise to get a proper FLF file.
