Get related data entity for ax tables

Hi all,

I'm trying to develop a form which can list out all the table names which is avialable on ax including custom table, and the entities which is using these tables. if the table is dont used in any of the entities, is should display blank. I was able to do that in the reverse order that if i have the entity name, i can get the related data sources, for that i refered "https://community.dynamics.com/ax/f/33/p/222796/786979#786979".

can anyone suggest me a solution to achive this.

    Dear Midun, please use short, descriptive tags to categorize your question. Full sentences such as your "How to get the related data entities for a table through x++ code." don't work well as categories of related questions.

    So you know how to do build a list data entry -> tables.  Save this list somewhere, in a table for example and then add all other tables that are in AOT but not in the list, now you have a data source for your form.

    Another option is to use cross-references, if table is used in data entry there would be an entry to connect them. All cross-references sits in db, however, you need to keep them up to date.

    Don't forget that a view could be used as an entity data source or even other entity, so you need to factor this in your code as well.
