2015 Email Router on Server 2012 R2?

Is this not a supported configuration? I see in the software requirements it just lists Server 2012. Are there any plans to support R2?

    I checked internally that Email router 2015 client is compatible with Windows Server machines 2012 below:

    Windows Server 2012 Datacenter RTM 7.0.0.3543 Compatible

    Windows Server 2012 Standard RTM 7.0.0.3543 Compatible

    Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter RTM 7.0.0.3543 Compatible

    Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard RTM 7.0.0.3543 Compatible
