Is customer created from prospect when creating an order from quotation?

If i create a sales order from a sales quotation, but i use a prospect; the customer is created automatically?

    Your finance team might want to have a say in that and how will the system know when to automatically covert from one to the other, when you quote, when you get an order etc.

    The system allows you to convert prospect to customer.
