Hi experts,
I just tried installing 2 extensions from the appsource marketplace to my Sandbox environment. They were from two different 3rd party vendors. After the procedure finished, I did not find any trace of the installed apps anywhere, particularly they were missing on the "extensions" overview page.
Details of what happened:
- Reached the appsource marketplace from within my Dynamics 365 environment by pressing the +.
- Searched for app
- Pressed the install button
- Question appeared: You have both a production and a Sandbox environment, select where to install. Chosen: saandbox.
- Sandbox environment appeared with a popup asking for language. Chosen: English (US)
Then pressed "Install" on the same popup.
- Messagebox said: "Extension installation in progress. Please check the status page for updates."
It said that both times.
Where is "the status page"?
I tried these likely candidates:
- the "extensions" overview page: the installing / installed extension is not (yet) there
- searched for a page called "status"
various search hits appeared, but none of them were showing extensions.
Is it normal?

I was facing the same issue, my extension was being installed on production and I was able to see the status from the deployment status but when I went to the Extensions page the extension was no where to be found.
The solution that worked for me was I created a new extension again and I copied my all customizations to the new extension and tried deploying again and it worked.
We're end-users! We go ask our service provider. The telemetry-page is not within our reach.
Try to connect to your online sandbox environment and check the telemetry on the admin page if it says something useful.

We did not get that popup message.
Instead we got the message that I have cited.
I understand it mentions a page that has disappeared, mm...
We did log out and logged back in but both extensions did not appear.
I suppose the next step is to ask the providers of the extensions for help.

Well, in the last version of D365BC before the last update (8 oct.) there was an action called Deployement Status on the extension management page where you could check the status of the installation progress. This action disappeared now.
In general, actually when an installation finish successfully you get a message like:
where it asks you to log out and log in again to see the changes. Try log out and log in !
