NAV Custom Report Layouts

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

This is likely a novice question, however: Why can I see "Custom Report Layouts" ID 1 through 169 (or so); and another user is only seeing Custom Report Layouts 200 or higher.

So we have a Custom Report Layout #91 for a custom Case Lable (Word format) and another user who I want to start maintaining this Custom Report Layout #91 goes in and does not see this layout at all.  And they only see #200 or higher.  And I which I had not seen before never noticed that I only see #1 custom report layouts through 161.

What filters this: is it user profile, user card, roles, security?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Thanks a bunch and It is solved by a more simple solution:

    ------------

The "Report ID" and "ID" are two seperate columns. The other person had Report ID and I had (Just) ID.

And so solved. If first your page / screen are differenct don't wonder in fright, review columns and soon it might be clear.  Yes a novice (my rookie) mistake.  thank again.

    Hi,

This seems to be a user permissions issue, as the users are restricted to see some/particular layouts.  Go to the user Permission Set at the user card and add custom permissions for that user.
