Payroll Integration to Payables and Manual Checks

We just upgraded to GP 2018R2.  It appears in the new version that Manual Check transactions in Payroll no longer generate PIP transactions.  We were on GP 2015R2 before the upgrade and Manual Check transactions posted through PIP.

Anyone else encounter such a change?

RE: Payroll Integration to Payables and Manual Checks

I had the same issue for one of our clients and couldn't quickly find anything about it so reached out to Terry Heley at Microsoft and she indicated that it was causing issues as not all the times would it post over to manual checks correctly.  Therefore, Microsoft changed this on GP 2016 and GP 2018 mid year updates.

It is noted in this blog

Here is the manual stating manual checks is not supported – note in chapter 1
