how to set up inter-companies with different local currency

Hi Experts,

Could you advise if it is possible set up companies with different local currencies in BC under one database? For example one in CAD and another company in USD. If user choose the region as Canada when creating the tenant, all its companies will default to CAD. Does user need to create a US tenant?

As far as I know, this is standard functionality. You can set different local currencies for different companies.

For exmaple,

Hello Aspen,

You can have many companies in one environment (database) and each company can have their own specific reporting currency.

However, this needs to be configured under 'General Ledger Setup' as YUN ZHU shows, it will not be based on the user region.
