Hello Community,

I have a AP transaction that for some reason is not flowing through to the fixed asset module though I coded the transaction to the fixed asset account. How do I rectify this issue so that it flows through?

    Hi,

When you say you coded the transaction to the fixed asset account, do you mean that you coded the transaction to the trigger account? The trigger account is what causes the entry to go to the FA purchases table so that you can add it to the fixed assets module. Normally it is a clearing account. The AP clerk debits the purchase to that account and then the FA module clears it out once you add the item to your fixed assets module. Now, you have to have it all set up properly in order for all of that to happen. The so called trigger account is set up in the window illustrated below:

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
