Advanced bank reconciliation - RBC MT940 format

Has anyone used the RBC MT940 format bank statements? I am running into the bank account issue. The MT940 file includes the 5-digit branch number in the account number but the D365 F&O setup does not. The branch number was an apart of the routing number in the D365 bank setup. I have the account number not matching error when I import. Should I change the bank number in D365? I assume there will be tons of changes to other setups. Or I could ask RBC to change the bank file.

D365 consists of many applications, such as Finance and Operations, Sales or Business Central. Which one do you have in mind?
