rms zebra lp2824 barcode labels printer issue

Hi,

 

I have used the label designer. I have the settings right h1.6cm w4cm and followed all the steps.

once i print the item it simply does not print anything, but  a blank label prints.

the print preview also does now show anything.

Please help as I have been trying to get this work for the last 3 days without any luck.

    Ihave been in a similar situation to yourself. I found that the barcode labels generatoring software wasn't the best. What software are you using currently?

    What drivers are you using for the zebra?  Windows or generic?

     If Windows, can you print and see a test page?

    If you cannot, then your labels may be damaged (thermal labels can lose printing abilities after a certain period of time, especially if exposed to higher than average temperatures and/or sunlight)

    We have started using the Zebra LP2824 printer in the past year. Using the label designer in RMS i was

    able to create a label format with minimal problems.(I'm not a programmer). By using the original Zebra

    lable that was in the install disk and modifying it to meet our need. We us two across labels and it works

    fine.

    Hiagain, can someone please give me some tips on how to setup this printer with rms?

    having alot of issues, my label size is 30mm wide and 6mm high with a gap between labels of 2 mm. 

    I have tried many combinations but cannot get very far..

    Only use a Generic Text Only driver with any barcode printer used with RMS. If you have installed a Zebra driver, delete it. It is almost easier to program the label using Eltron's (Zebra's) programming guide than it is to use their software. I would look at the Eltron label that is resident in RMS to get some ideas.     This problem always comes from setting barcode format outsite the dimitions of border (when setting your barcode design).

    you need just to make all barcode data inside the barcode design border, and try.

    Hi When you are setting the label on your barcode printer, you need to enter your label metrics into the area you entered first and you need to enter your label's dimensions.
