decimal point not ciming up

A filed in GP 2010 was configured to 3 decimal points and was working fine.  All of sudden this week it's coming up 0 decimal points.  Nothing was changed in GP or on the servers.  Any help with this would be appreciated.

    Hi Ian,

    Thanks for replying.

    It is the Full Time Equivalency (FTE) on the Employee Positions and Employee Positions Detail screens

    What field are we talking about? (Window name and Field name).
