Return items across multiple customer orders

Hi Experts,
 
According to this multireturn, we should be able to process returns for multiple orders at the point of sale (POS) by enabling the /Enable returns for multiple orders/ option in the commerce parameters. We have enabled this feature and ensured that the changes are synchronized. However, despite these efforts, we are still encountering an error when attempting to return from multiple orders.
 
 
Has anyone encountered this issue before and discovered a solution?

    Return items across multiple customer orders
    Ensure you have the Return policy enabled and configured. Also ensure you have all the omni-channel Features turned on. I often find there is more than one Feature or config element that affects a certain process.
