Hi, I've a local option set at contact form. It contains almost more than 100 values. For some reasons I need these values.

Is there any suggested way to export/obtain all these values into excel/csv?

    Hi,

You can use XrmToolBox to extract optionset metata, Download it from codeplex and connect to your CRM system, then select metadata generator->your entity and export it to excel.

    xrmtoolbox.codeplex.com

    Thanks

One easy way to get all the labels and values of optionset is,  in IE browser Press F12 and select the optionset control and copy the HTML of the select control and save as XML and open it in the excel that will give you title and values of all options.

An error occured while retrieving organizations: Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved: 'disco.crm.dynamics.com/.../Discovery.svc;.

    Dear Mohsin,

If on-premise CRM, then you can make a query on FilteredStringMap view by entity and attribute name for getting the option set values.

    Hope this helps,

    Abed.

Then copy the query result and paste it into excel sheet :)

[/quote]Thanks for this solution, it worked fine and saved me a lot of time. I copied the values into a text file which I imported into Excel. From there, I was able to easily extract the actual values from the option set.
