Data template import/export error

Hi All,

I am facing an issue while importing "Data template" to one legal entity to other and one environment to another. Please find the screen shot for your reference .

    Hi baduru hameed,

    Please find the "vendor method of payment bank accounts" entity properties in AOT,  check the value of the property "CountryRegionCodes".

    If it is not enable for the county, you could try to find the alternative entity. If you don't find any alternative entity , you have option to duplicate entity and remove CountryRegionCode property and use it.

    Okay, I could able to find the country region code in AOT property. But when I tried to add files while importing I am getting an below error which I have mentioned in the 1st screen shot.

    Please find the error below.

    "Error in line 1 position 2. Expecting element 'DataManagementPackageManifest' from namespace

    'schemas.microsoft.com/.../DataManagement'.. Encountered 'Element' with name

    'DataManagementTemplatePackageManifest', namespace 'schemas.microsoft.com/.../"

    I have extracted and the exported package file, the manifest files are there. But I don't know why I am facing this error.

    Can you please help to sort this error.

    Just try to Simply refresh the entities by going to Data Management -> framework parameters -> entity settings -> refresh entity list. then try to upload again.

    I refreshed the entities but still i am facing the same error.

    Hello baduru,

    There seems to be an issue with your data and companies that you setup. In the first screenprint, I can see a US based company (USMF) while the error message mentions something about a GB feature.

    Can you please try using the copy into legal entity feature and use it for companies that are located in the same country/region?

    Otherwise, you might always face issues with special local features that are not available everywhere.

    Thanks for your response,

    For Country region error I could understand what I have to do. But when comes to the 1st screen shot error while "Add file"  in the importing time of "Data template" package file. Please find the error below.

    Hi baduru,

    There seems to be something missing in your upload file.

    As you are operating in a demo environment, can you try the following:

    1. Create a data export for your entity.

    2. Once this is finished download the package

    3. Open the zip file and verify that it includes the manifest and package header xml elements in addition to your excel file

    4. Unzip the files

    5. Adjust your excel data

    6. Zip the files with your modified excel data and the manifest and package header again

    7. Create a new import job and test importing your data.

    Probably try doing that with a simple/straightforward entity first.

    Hi Ludwig,

    I have followed this steps while importing the package file. I am facing an error again.

    "Could not find file 'C:\Users\ContainerAdministrator\AppData\Local\Temp\4FAEE057-EE5A-427C-BC0D-AEAD2A2AA7E2_31BA5BBC-C144-4990-8E15-CEB6FEED350C\PackageHeader.xml'."

    I checked the package header file in the zip file it exists correct only.

    I tried to google the error but I didn't get the clear answer.

    Any idea or help?

    What D365FO version do you operate?

    Have you already checked that this issue is not related to a system bug?

    Installed product version : 10.0.14 (10.0.605.10014)

    Installed platform version : Update38 (7.0.5778.35626)

    Yes, this issue is not system bug.
