Move fields on a form using javascript

Hello community,

I have the following form :

sz.PNG

I am controlling the text Alignment field & date format visibility by a business rule.

One of them will be visible at a time, they will never be visible both at the same time.

I wan when the text alignment is hidden, the Date format move to the top replacing the text Alignment position using javascript or other way.

Anyone have a lead on that?

best regards.

    Hi Don,

Unfortunately, there is no supported way to auto align field on CRM form. If you hide the field through the script/Business Rule that field got hidden but that field space remains empty,

The only way I can suggest you, shift your field to the section and Hide/Show section instead of fields. Section/Tabs adjust the alignment automatically. But in this case, your Business Rules logics also needs to be shifted to javascript code. Because Business Rule cannot hide/shoe Tabs/Sections

    Hope it helps.

    Hi Don,

You can't really manipulate alignment and positions in fields on the form.

As Goutam suggests, you can place the fields that you are looking to hide in a single row, so when all the fields are hidden, the row will basically be hidden. You can also place them at the bottom part of the section.

Another alternative is to place these fields on a section by itself, and then hide the section as needed.

    Hope this helps.
