Error When Releasing or Deleting Cash Account Transactions Batch

Just upgraded a client to SL 2015. When we release or delete a batch in Cash Account Transactions, the process status screen loads and completes. When you click OK, then you get an error that reads:

System Message 5047

Unable to locate memory array row contents. Out of bounds row value passed to kernel.

We originally saw this error on a workstation. When I tried on the server, I received the "Release CA Batches has stopped working" generic windows error. Then, after testing more, I started to get the same message above.

In both situations, the screen did not crash, and the batch seemed to release or delete without any issues.

I've seen the same error in the Cash Account Transfers screen after releasing a batch and we wait for hotfix. In the meantime, you may need to try creating a Cash Account transaction batch with the handling as Release later. Use Release CA batches screen to release the batch and see if this error pops up again. I haven't seen this error in the Cash Account transfer screen if I did the same.

    Thanks,

    Siva

We are having this issue also on a recent upgrade to SL 2015 CU1, curious if you are using the standard screen or if your screen is customized?   We are experiencing issues in both Cash Account Transaction and Cash Account Transfers.

The screens are not customised at all and we got this error in the Cash Account Transfers screen. I haven't fully tested the Cash account transaction screen yet.

    Thanks,

    Siva

Did you every get this figured out.  I was told it was because of customizations in the screen but not sure how to fix it.

I think it is a bug. I think the workaround is to run this script:

    update glsetup set mcactive = '1', mult_cpny_db='1'

    Thanks. That worked

I am experiencing the same error in SL 2015 cu1 when releasing batches in both the cash account transactions screen and the cash account transfers screen.  Neither screen is customized.  I was going to run this SQL statement to update the glsetup table, but is looks like it is turning on multi-company processing.  Does this matter if this isn't a multi-company database?  Thanks!

As annoying as the message is, it can be ignored.  It does not affect any data processing.  MS has confirmed this is a bug, but since it is not a high priority issue, they have not provided a software fix for it.

    Hi Pileggi,

It is a reported bug.  However, I ran this script in an environment that is not multicompany and it helped to resolve the problem without turning on multi-company.  Here is the script in case the script you has is different.

    Update Glsetup set McActive = '1', Mult_Cpny_Db = '1'
