I'm trying to access a list of all the Federal ID numbers by vendor.

Under the vendor list, I tried to personalize but have not seen any option for /federal ID no/ as indicated by the vendor cards.

How do you all extract this information?

Hi,
There is no specific field for the federal ID in the system, depending on the country/region and organization requirements, there will be similar fields for storing the vendor's tax ID. In the standard system, there is a "Federal Tax ID" field where you can enter the vendor's taxpayer identification number. Click insert column to insert this field in the vendor list.

Do the field you want to add exist in the database? If so, you can refer to this official document: Personalize the user experience - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn. For example, if you want to add or hide columns in a grid, just right-click a column header, and then select Insert columns or Hide this column. If the field does not exist in the database and you need to customize the field, you can refer to this official document: Create and work with custom fields - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn. This article describes how you can customize existing field descriptions and add your own descriptions.

I went into the "customize field" but I am not able to see that "federal tax ID" is an option?

To be clear, I am on Dynamics 365 Business Central.

You can have an admin go to the profiles page and find the one you are assigned (purchasing agent, business manager, etc.) and customize the page to add that field (federal ID) from the vendor card to the list view.
