Hey I need to change entity -Incident- status from resolved - 0 to active -1, I'm trying to use SQL the values have changed after I run my query but when I refresh the incident I see that it still at Resolved mode, Am I missing something ? how can I change the state or can I change the state?

It appears that the button reactivate case is only available for individual record. As these are just 6 records, I would suggest to perform the action for each case record. Alternatively as suggested aboce, you can create a workflow which changes the status and then run that workflow on all required records.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi ,

Which button you are looking for ? Its should be resolve case or cancel case if I am  not wrong.

Or you can change directly from Status drop-down.

Is there any specific reason you are not  changing directly using Dynamics CRM user interface ?

If its only 6 records then you can do this from UI/ application itself. There is no benefit of doing this with sql/code or workflows. Login to CRM, search for the required records and click "Reactivate Case".

    Hi,

If you want no code approach then create a workflow which change the status from resolved to active and then run workflow on all the required records.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

using SQL query is highly not recommended. Please do not use it next time.  You can refer below article on how to change the status.

    Hi ,
