Dear All,

what is the use of Legacy id in table ? It's generating from Karnel?

Please give me more shed on this.

    Hi,

    Yes, they are generated from Kernel. LegacyID property is helpful to maintain backward compatibility with the previous Microsoft Dynamics AX versions and these values are stored in model files and XPO files.

    Hi,

    As it is maintained(identifier) for backward compatibility across versions you can check the legacy Id property of any object(like table salesTable, class salesFormLetter and so on) for example in AX2009 and AX2012 to get better understanding.
