Missing sales order? - Qty on Sales order incorrect. Possible bug

Hi,

I've got some weird things going on with our sales orders, and in turn our "Qty on Sales Order" figures. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same/a similar issue.

So if you take look at our items list you can see there is a value for "Qty on Sales order"

When I click the 1 hyperlink, I get all of the sales orders with this item on them:

However when I click on the show document button, it doesn't bring up SO005298, but a completely different Sales order, which is really weird. When I look up the customer C12109 in the customer card, I can see 2 sales orders in the factbox pane:

But when I click on it, there is only one sales order, and it's not the one I'm looking for.

Any ideas what's going on here, or how to fix the problem? It almost seems that there's a sales order that's been deleted, but still referenced in several places.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Ed

Hello Ed - I tested this on my tenant and I am unable to repro what you are seeing.  When I click Show Document it opens the document that I have selected.  Also with the Sell-to Customer Sales History all of the Orders in the list are all the open Sales Orders I have in this tenant.  Let me know if you are still seeing issues with this.

    Hi Andy,

Thanks for looking into this. I've just tried it again and getting the same issue. I wonder whether there is some data corruption or something. Any idea how I'd be able to debug this issue?

    Cheers,

    Ed

Hello Ed - Are you using any 3rd party extensions?  Is it possible to create a sandbox and uninstall those extensions?  Also I have seen cause issues similar.  Can you remove personalization on the page if you have some?

If that still does not work I would recommend that you open a support request to have us evaluate this.

    Hi Andy,

Thanks for the response. I've created a sandbox, and deleted all extensions and personalisations, but I'm still having the same issue.

Just an FYI, the Sales order displayed on the in the sales lines table no longer exists as an open sales order. It has already been posted, so not sure why it's still showing up.

I haven't submitted a support request before, what is the best way to do this?

    Cheers,

    Ed

Ed - You can create a Support case through the Business Central Admin Center.  Just select the Environment and click Support > New Support Request.  This will bring you to another window where you can click new support request and fill out the questionnaire

    Hi Andy,

Thanks for walking me through it, but I only have "report production outage" and "Manage Support Contact" in my dropdown.

    Cheers,

    Ed

Hello Ed - Do you have a Partner?  It looks like your profile states you are an end user.  To engage Microsoft in a new support request you will need to engage your Microsoft Partner.  This is covered in the "Escalating Support Issues to Microsoft" section:
