Hi,

When Posting PurchPackingSlipJournal, what is the difference between Remain and Remain Invent Fields in VendPackingslipTrans Table? have the fields the same values all the time? even in case of Partial Deliveries?

Hi Houda,

Remain* fields display the quantities in purchasing unit while RemainInvent* displays quantities in inventory unit (Unit in which you store the stock).

Ex: In inventory you may store a certain item in grams but while purchasing you are using Kilogram units. So the Remain* will show the quantities in Kgs while RemainInvent* will show it in Gm.

Hi Houda,

I agree with Sumit.

Remain , is PurchQty , extends UnitQty , Pertains to the meaning of remaining numbers.

RemainInvent, is InventQty.

You can go to the AOT to view the EDT of the table field extends.
