How to unlink a payment

Payments are made and linked to the incorrect invoice. Can someone explain to me (in business central for dummies language :)) how to unlink payments from invoices?

    Yes, like the experts mentioned that you can Unapply the Entries from the Vendor Ledger entries.

    Go to the Vendor Ledger Entries page, select the payment entry, click Home > Apply Entries > Unapply Entries.
     
     
    Confirm the entries and click on Unapply.
