Our company runs on AX Microsoft Dynamics AX and we are normally very good at resolving issues in AX but this time we don't know where to turn we need some help we cant remove the part number that has the problem i already changed it to pull zero qty and basically zero out everything but the lot id not specified just keeps appearing  up when ever we try to do anything. let me know if you can help out

Can you reset the production order and then remove it from the ProdBOM, add it back in?

I presume if you look at the item and then look at the stock transaction linked to the production order that has a blank LotID?

I can no longer reset because the production order has been worked on, i'm stuck between  released and started can't move forward nor back because this error will appear.

this part number is attached to are job order so it self populates into the Bom when we create the order, we can consume as much piece/(issue), as we want but just as soon as we try to report as finished this error appears, and nope there is a lot ID number on there, and I cant reset the job order either same error appears witch is the difficulty we are having right now I'm stuck in released and started but from there i cant move forward nor back , I tired to zero out the part number so the order won't pull nothing but somehow it still says that part number lot id is not specified when that part number has been zero out of the Bom

Im sorry, what is a job order? You have batch or production orders that use Fromulas or BOM's.

I would suggest you get a developer to debug it, if the line has a lot ID and the message is saying it is not specified then it is doing something else with it.

Job order are production orders and correct that would the formula/boms, Debug the item number from the BOM or the job order

Debug the process that creates the error, so RAF.
