Hi:

If you Backflush in Manufacturing, can variances still be calculated as a part of this automatic reporting?

Thanks!

John

    Hi John,

Thank you for posting the question on the Forum.

Using Back Flushing still posts an Item Ledger Entry and Value Entry for each backflushed component, which then would be summed for component consumption cost and compared to the Single Level Cost Shares for Material Cost of the Production BOM Item. So, yes, the variance would be calculated taking into account the backflushed component cost.

    Thank you.

    Best Regards

    Tom
