BC V20 ssl with Windows user authentication

Posted on by 222

Is it possible to user Windows authentication of the web client with ssl? Is the setup the same as when using navuserpassword authentication?

I will also need in the near furfure to user AAD for the users as I see this is a requirement if the users want to use edit in excel. This will need a change to the user authentication method. In previous version I do not recall having to use AAD for the users.

    Hello,

Yes, that is possible. You add the certificate to IIS via a binding. The url is over https but authentication is Windows authentication. We recommend to use Azure AD authentication with MFA (there is no choice to choose anything else).

    Thank you.
