Front end Data Action to call custom API

We are trying to create custom data action from front end react code, but I was new to D365, so I am unable to debug the code.

Kindly provide the steps to confirm weather the API is calling or not ?

Also please provide the code reference to call custom backend end point from our frontend custom data action.
