Unable to view User ID under 'Privileged User management' - User Security Governance

Hi Experts,
 
I'm testing User security governance module in which when I am creating new process under 'Privileged User management', I'm unable to view my user under 'User ID' field.
 
I have created an employee on my name and attached the same to my user.
 
 
Please suggest if I'm missing anything.

    Agreed with Sohaib, user should not have System Administration to be available in lookup for Priviledged User Management.

    Hi Naveena,

    As mentioned by Sohaib, the users to be set up in privileged user management should not have the system  administrator role. This is to avoid that users will have or get too many permissions to also delete the logs and access history.

    To appear in the User ID field, the user must meet all of the following conditions:

     

    The user must be assigned a privileged security role (for example, System administrator or any role marked as privileged).

     

    The user must be enabled and active.

     

    The user must be linked to an employee record (which you have already done).

     

    The user must not already be part of an active or approved privileged access process.

    What to check:

    Go to System administration > Security > User security governance > Privileged roles

    Ensure the role assigned to your user is marked as Privileged

    Assign that privileged role to your user

    Log out and log back in (or clear usage data)

    Key point:

     

    Only users with privileged roles are available for selection in Privileged User Management.
    Simply creating an employee and linking it to the user is not sufficient.

    This could be because the user has System Administrator role assigned to him/her. Any user who has role of System Administrator assigned to them, are excluded by system at lookup level
