Is there a way to set the lookups for Master Records to Exclude Inactive by user and never allow them to change it.

Can you share which master records you are referring
Let's say I wanted to change the Customer and Prospects Lookup to exclude Inactive customers. Further, I wanted to force that to be the one and only view that certain users ever use on the lookup. I know I could write VBA code to accomplish it but I want to be able to do it through Smart List Administration and Security through the application layer. Is it possible?
Inactive status is a choice in smartlist - sometimes the GP admin has to add it to the default list. Maybe that will help?
yes, but is there a way to not allow users to change it back to whatever they want to?
This could only be achieve with customization.
Either VBA or Dexterity.
