Hi Everybody
We are a company without manufacturing anything, our items that we buy/source and sell has various delivery time from 2 days to 9 month, some of the items are seasonal items( workwear) but we are using variants so as i understand we can not use forecast. The items with short delivery time (2 day) we have under control with the Reordering Policy "Order". The rest of the items (2-9 month delivery) i need a plan so i can purchase them automatically. In my mind i would like to purchase "all season items" automatically so my question is:
Which planning system shall i use? and how should the setup be on both planning and general? and which reorder policy should i use?
Any other tips would outstanding - coming from axapta this a different world
