In payroll there is a pay type of Other that can be assigned to a pay code. What examples of when this code would be used? How does it affect payroll transactions?

The examples of "Other" Pay Type listed is the US Payroll Guide says "Other pay types can be used to classify additional types of pay. Some examples of other pay types are jury duty, bonus pay, long-term disability, and short-term disability."

Someone else may have more context around your payroll transaction impact question, however the Payroll guide does speak to the lack of ability to edit the pay rates on the transaction for these types of pay types, in certain circumstances: docs.microsoft.com/.../payrollus
