How to set up the total count for the view over 5000

Hello,

We are in transition to D365. I realize the total count of records in the views or advanced find showing 1-250 of 5000+. In previous version, we have the number like 1-250 of ##(total number of records). Can anyone direct me on how to increase this number in D365?

Thanks

Carys

    Hi Carys,

I believe you're thinking of SkipGettingRecordCountForPaging from: support.microsoft.com/.../orgdborgsettings-tool-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm

Not sure if that's still valid to use in the shifting world of CDS and D365 CE Online, especially as we move to Modern and Canvas Apps but you can try flipping the bit using the OOB tool or Sean's tool at github.com/.../OrgDbOrgSettings .

    Hi Carys,

Users can determine that for themselves in the Personal Options settings.

The maximum is 250 records. Choosing the maximum might have some performance consequences. If you are working on a hot spot of your cell phone, this might result in higher data expenditures.

    Kind regards,
