GP 10, deleted Assembly Entry item but it is still allocated

Hello,

I'm using Dynamics GP 10. I released a BOM in Inventory: Assembly Entry and then realized I didn't need it so I did not post it. I returned to the item, clicked Not Released then Save. I returned to the item and clicked delete and it disappeared from the Assembly Entry queue. However, in Inventory: Quantities the item is showing that the BOM is allocated to the deleted assembly entry. I have run Checklinks and Reconcile for the item and the item continues to show as allocated. How to I correct this?

Thank you,

ES

Thank you for responding. How do I report this to GP?

    Thanks again,

Report this specific instance to GP.  This needs to be fixed by them.  Second, (today is the big day for allocation problems) I will be posting a script to identify tables that are holding allocation information on my web site this weekend.  Look for it Monday under FreeStuff

    Nevermind, I figured it out.

However, I'm having another allocation problem. I added a new sub-assembly to an existing BOM, then released the top level BOM in Assembly Entry.  However, the items are not allocating properly. The top level BOM allocated properly before I made the change.

    Thank you,

    ES
