GP2013 R2 error when modify CUSTNMBR: SQL Native Client 10.0 SQL Server Invalid column name 'SERIES'

Posted on by 650

I upgraded GP from GP 2010 SP2 to GP 2013 R2. Now I need to modify some Customers ID using GP2013's native functionality, from Sales >> Utilities >> Customer Combiner and Modifier, but I received the next error message: "Microsoft SQL Native Client 10.0 SQL Server Invalid column name 'SERIES'"

Thank you in advanced.

When you are making this change it sounds like you did an export of the current Vendor / Customer list and then created a column that had the new ID.

If that is the case, then all the other information that you have in your 'import' table needs to be dumped.

You should only need two columns - Existing and New

If this does not solve the problem, send a clip of the top 3 rows of data with the headers.

If this does solve, let others know.
