webinar in teams via D365 marketing

Hi

We have tested the marketing webinar instad of organizing a teams live event

We have some questions

1. When I set up a webinar I am the owner of the teams webinar, setting with invitees/attendees cannot bypass the lobby

The owner is the only one who can change the settings during the webinar.

The problem is that when the owner is not available to attend the teams webinar. There is no one who could access the cam or microphone settings or start break out rooms

We have made someone else presenter but this role does not give the presenter acces. Also we have noticed that the presenter has no acces to bypass the lobby.

When we set the setting who can bypass the lobby to only I invite it does not work

How can we give the presenter the possibility to control the microphone for himself or for attendees that have a question.

    Hi,

It is recommended to re-post your issue to the community of Teams for more help.

    Here is the link:

Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Tech Community

Or you can raise a ticket to MS.

For the control of microphones, you can set the presenter in Teams Meeting options.

We did but if you wait for 30 minutes or more the sync does overwrite this settings

    Hi,

For the option “Who can bypass the lobby?”, please refer to the following documentation:

Change participant settings for a Teams meeting - Office Support (microsoft.com)

    pastedimage1627009201113v5.png

If I set it as “Only me”, when the other user joins in the meeting and I haven’t joined, it will be shown as:

     pastedimage1627009133315v1.png

And if it is set as “People I invite” and the user has been invited (or sent with the invitation email),

when the other user joins in the meeting and I haven’t joined, it will be shown as:

For the control of microphones, you can set the presenter in Teams Meeting options.

And the presenter can disable the mic or camera of all the attendees, or of individuals, at any time during the meeting.

For more details, please refer to:

Manage attendee audio and video permissions in Teams meetings - Office Support (microsoft.com)
