Budget not reflecting in Budget funds available

I have the following issue regarding Budget control.

I have loaded budget in AX2012 but the balances does not reflect on my Budget funds available report. This is currently preventing any transactions from posting as the control is configuration turned on.

this is the steps that was followed when adding the budget:

I have configured the budget control and activated the control (i did not turn the control on i only activated)

I have loaded budget on all dimensions without using plans. Only created original budget with entries

After posting/updating the balances the i switched on the control so the control setup will take effect.

 

If some one can please give guidance on why the budget is not available or viable in budget funds available?

    Hi Eduan.

    I understand your issue now. We alsot experienced the same issue with one of our clients and even logged the issue with MS with no real solution (apart from basically what you have done) to work around the issue.

    Thanks for the responses. 

    It seems like when the budget entries was posted it did not update the BudgetSourceTracking table. This must have been due to the fact that budget control was not switched on when posting the entries. A reversal and a reposting of the budget with the control switched on fixed the issue.

    If some one has an alternative to fix the BudgetSourceTracking table without reversing the budget please share the information.

    Hi Eduan.

    Could you post a few screendumps of you budget configurations and budgets themselves? There are a variety of reasons why the funds available may not be reflecting correctly.

    Could you also comment on what type of documents you are using budget control on?

    Hi Eduan,

    After update budget balances, can you see the entries under General Ledger - > Inquiries -> Voucher transactions?
