Does GP Payroll work for middle east (UAE)? Is it possible to disable the tax options in U.S Payroll module?

Hi,

I am trying to configure the U.S Payroll for UAE region. When I try to build the check, it was saying that "Not all required payroll posting accounts have been assigned. Cheques cannot be built". Is it possible to avoid the payroll taxes setup like Federal tax withholdings, State tax withholdings, local tax withholdings,etc. in the payroll posting setup which I don't need for middle east.

    We have a single experience with Dynamics GP payroll in which heavy customization has been built in through a chunk file to customize the module for the middle east region. Although, we were not considering the HR as a module, rather we invested in the "Payroll" module alone. This is primarily because the core of the payroll in Dynamics GP is based on hours which is not 100% applicable in the middle east. As you know, it is more here of a calendar daily attendance issue, specific number of leaves (in days) ... etc.

    Therefore, investing in heavy customization to make the module work for middle east is doable yet not cost and time efficient. Dynamics Innovation has developed a completely separate system for Human Resources and payroll which is customized for the middle east region, the system is completely integrated with Dynamics GP and cover all the aspects provided in Dynamics GP starting from attendance, leaves, salaries, benefit, raises, organizational hierarchy and delegation ...etc.  You may check this online short video regarding the payroll system for middle east
