Hi,
We are using batch-enabled items and also using advanced warehousing to receive items from the Microsoft warehousing mobile application. Batch enable Items are required to enter manufacturing date and expiry date when receiving from the mobile application. However, we have some items with no expiry date. So we don't want to enter an expiry date. Is there any way to achieve this requirement?
Hi Zeeshan,
Are you using AX2012 or D365FO?
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig,
We are using D365 F&O.
Your suggestion on this, please?
It is not possible to leave expiry date empty when receiving through the mobile device.
Thanks,
Alina
If you leave the blank expiry date in you batch job, in mobile app you do not need to set it.
Hi Hossein,
I tried as per your suggestion but the mobile application is not allowing me to receive the item without entering the expiry date. Looks like the expiry date is mandatory to enter. Is there any way to make the expiry date optional on the application?
Hi Alina,
You are right, the mobile application is not allowing to leave the expiry date. What else can be the solution?
The only solution would be to customize the mobile app flow, there is no standard way to achieve this.
If you do not find the solution and have to customize it, tell us to help you for point of begin it.
