Dear Experts,
We have posted a general journal and it is created two separate journals after posting.
We never faced this issue before. Actually there is nothing wrong in posted journal but why one journal is creating two separate journals?
Thanks.
Do you have some customization here? How did you create and post the journal?
Hello Anirban Basu,
Have you set any limit in the same journal name which you are using?
If you go to General ledger > Journal setup > Journal names; you will find this field Lines limit. Just place the cursor on it and you will find the detail as below.
By default, it will be set always as '0'.
Please check if anyone has set this as '1'. If so, then system will break the journal lines into 2 separate journals after posting as you can see explained above.
Best regards,Sourav Dam

Dear Sourav,
Right.
I have tested this by setting 0 and one journal is creating as usual even after posting this is fine.
No idea who did this as we don't have database log enabled which may slow down the ERP.
Anyway thank you for the support.
Enabling database log on some parameter and setup tables will not slow down your system.
