Hello,

I'm using the screen Inventory management > Periodic > Release sales order picking and i don't understand how its works.

I have some quantities that they have a reservation and other without reservation for a same sale.

My aim :

In position of expedition date I want to can take off a full sale where the quantities of the goods are plenty (goods reservated or not)

I am looking for this functionality in AX

I hope i'm clear on my aim

Thanks for your help

Kind Regards

Release sales order picking is used for what I believe you are seeking:  to periodically / interactively drop picking lists based on criteria you set in a query.  Technet has some info on it:  https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa551256.aspx

Some notes based on your comments above:

    1. If you want to release picks for items that have plenty of inventory, look at the "Possible Delivery Percentage" column to ensure that specific line can be delivered, and the "All Orders can be delivered" line to see that inventory of this item in this site / warehouse can meet all open sales order lines.
    2. If you have a mix of reserved / unreserved lines in your sales orders, you may want to use the "Deduct Released for Picking" flag so that you don't try to pick the same inventory to multiple sales order lines.
    3. The "Activation" option up top is where you can choose how to mass populate the "Activate Now" column.  Once you have activated everything you want to, click the Release for Pick button and then "OK". These orders will now show in Inventory Mgmt-> Periodic ->picking list registration for warehouse workers to go pick the inventory.

Note that the Select / Query when you first load the screen, as well as your filter by grid are helpful in narrowing down your rows to activate.    I'd suggest you go into a test environment and play around with releasing.  If you don't like what you released, just go to the picking list registration screen and cancel the picks, and start over.

    Ok thanks for your answer

But i still don't understand, i have some sale where the quantities of their lines are plenty and AX doesn't suggest to pick this sale.

What kind of query i have to make ? Which button exaclty do i have to clil.

I would like to pick a full sale, i don't want to make an incomplete picking

    Thanks for your helps
