CRM export to web form

I need a process to take information in our CRM contact fields and export them to a web form.  Is there anything within CRM that can do this or do I need to get another piece of software?

Thanks!

Steve

    Steve,

After you get them to the web form what do you want to have happen?

    Steve,

Take a look at this video of our Profile Manager which will expose Contact form data to a web form so users can edit their profile.

Jerry.  Here is what we want to do.  We have information of our clients in our CRM.  We also have a site that we have to input that info into that is cumbersome to do with multiple clients input every day.  We have programmed a method to copy the pertinent info from CRM and put it into Excel that populates another Excel form for sales purposes, but we can't get it to copy to the website that we have to populate.  This website is not ours to modify so we're limited on that issue.

I viewed your youtube video and it's not exactly what we're looking for so I'm unsure how to proceed.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Steve,

You kind of lost me a little bit on the process.

It sounding like that you might need full portal functionality. Have you looked at the free CRM 2011 portal solution?

If you need the people to interact with the Excel data directly via the web have you taken a look at the Excel Web App:

This will not be for customer use, only internal.  This situation would not happen for any and all customers, only a select few who we would decide to push to this service(external webpage).

Right now as it is we don't have client interaction with our CRM.  It is all put in manually by our staff.  So when a client wants to update info they have to call us and we update it.

    Situation:

When we get a new client and the situation is right, we then take their information, input it into our CRM, copy it (Ctrl+C a hyperlink to the contact), paste into an Excel spreadsheet which then gets populated to a salesman's forms for quotes, etc. . then we browse to said website and put the info in again.

I'm trying to cut out the step of manually inputting the client's info into the external webpage.

If there is a YouTube video of the previously mentioned solution I would love to see it as I can't find any info on it other than the terrible reviews on the page you sent me to.

    Hi there,

It seems to me like you are asking to take data off the CRM screen and enter it into a web form.  You said you must enter the data into another web site that you cannot control, so you cannot do a data integration on the back end.  Therefore, you are looking for something that works on the screen to speed up the data entry process.  Is that correct?

If so, Microsoft CRM does not have anything built-in that does this.  However, you maybe able to find a more universal tool that allows you to record macros across applications.  I'm not an expert in these, so I can't make a recommendation, but you might start with this list.

Perhaps others can chime in with a recommendation.

Yes that is exactly what I am trying to do.  We just didn't know if CRM already had that functionality, just hidden somewhere.  Thanks for the link, I will check it out.
