Email Template -Email must have at least one recipient before it can be sent

Hello,

I'm creating email template which is named 'A' and I have a workflow from where i'm calling that email template by adding step Send email- Use Template - Custom entity(admissions application) - select created Email template 'A'.

My question is from where i can able to see recipient .

Workflow set up is like Available to Run :√ Run this workflow in the background   ,  Scope : Organization

Start when : Record field change

So i got this process in waiting mode with this message 'Email must have at least one recipient before it can be sent'.

If anybody can help me to solve this problem then i'll really appreciate it.

Thank you so much ,

    Hi Piny,

The email form you shared in the image is 'Wizard' main form of the Email entity, and the one I shared in my reply is 'Email' main form.

The reason why you are not seeing the 'Email' form while setting up the template is, only the 'Wizard' main form is active in your solution. Please see the screenshots attached where I reproduced your issue.

If it is OK to re-activate the 'Email' main form, the issue will be fixed. Hope this helps.

    Hi,

You need to populate at least one recipient in order to make the system send the e-mail. However, you can create a plugin for E-mail at PreCreate stage to update the recipients with ones you want.

    Thanks

    Hi Piny,

You need to set at least one static or dynamic 'From' address and one or more 'To' address in the workflow step along with defining which email template to be used.

You could do it in the 'Send Email Using Template' form, opened when clicked on 'Set Properties' button on the process step. Please see the provided screenshot for reference.

    Hope this helps.
