I am looking to use the default Report option within Dynamics for one of my Many to Many relationships.
Here is how my tables/relations are with my current layout.
1:Many - Client/Clinical
This is for when a choice on the clinical record is set to individual so they can select an individual client.
Many:Many - Client/Clinical
This is for when a choice on the clinical record is set to group so they can select multiple clients.
I have the report for individual clinical records with the client information.
I am looking to make a report that lists the clients that are part of the group clinical record. I am fine with it repeating the clinical information if it must, just anything to have the information displayed.
Figured it out.
Set the primary to Client and the Related to Clinical not Clinical (Client).
Set the related Clinical type to Group. That's it, the additional date filters at the bottom was just to further filter the clinical records but this pulls the information.
I further adjusted the report to group things by clinician and date. Down side being that if there are multiple in one day you would have them all in one group. Only idea I have for that is to display the GUID number to force them to all be unique, or add an autonumbering column to ensure its unique.
But overall this worked for me.
