    Hello Pragya,

    To trace the Sales Invoice of the Posted Sales Invoice No., you can refer to the 'Pre-Assigned No.' field or the 'Posting Description' of the Posted Sales Invoice if you did not change it.
     
    The 'Posting Description' field can be found on the customer ledger entries easily.

    just a small thing to add. the preassigned no. field allows you to trace the original document the posted invoice is originated from. It could be an sales order or a sales invoice no. depending on how it got posted.
