Hi All,

Question, i have not setup any of the Cross Dock process in the system, but i am getting the following message, when Releasing a Sales order to Create work.

and No Work is created,

I don't want to Use Cross Docking on this system and i can not find where it has been configured to Use cross docking.

Cross Docking Policy has not been Configured

Cross docking Templates has not been Configured

any Suggestions welcomed

Hello Tom Veitch,

The screen looks like from Business Central (Navision) and not for D365FnO.

Can you please double check?

Hi Sourav,

Yes 100% is F/O

the Load has been Created and the Process of Releasing to the Warehouse, for work creation. i have one line on the Sales order that is on back order or Out of Stock.

when it is released the following error comes up and not work is created for the other items on the sales order.

Hello Tom Veitch,

I guess just because no site and warehouse are mentioned; system is showing this error as it hints.

Can you check if after updating this inventory dimensions is actually fixing this issue or not!

No i don't have any Work policies.

from what i understand it should;d not be looking for any cross docking ?

Hi Traveitch,

As indicated earlier by Sourav, have you verified whether all dimensions above the location are being specified? I believe that this warning message appears if the loadlines have unknown dimensions above the location in the hierarchy. Hence, depending on your reservation hierarchy setup validate whether all dimensions like, warehouse, inventory status etc. have been specified and proceed from there.
