Hello!

We have MS Business Central 365 OnPremium version 24 and we have defined some job queue with timeout .
But, that timeout does not works, it will not stop the works, it just running and running.
Do you have some ideas what are maybe wrong / what we can do that this start to works?
I have the same question (0)

    Hii there ,
As per default it's 12 Hours/720 minutes. So if you want to stop in some time update the field in job queue entry
    thank you.

    Hi!

Yes, we have defined that Job timeout is 3hours but its not works. The status is In Progress and not change, we must stop this by manually. It just running and running, the Timeout does not work. It not change the status Ready or Error, its like some loop..

This is a bit strange and seems to be a standard problem. You can try upgrading to the latest CU and then test it again.
Or you can try to control it from the server settings. For example,

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

    Hello,

It seems like it cancels the task/session but does not change the job queue status to reflect this.

I setup a job queue with a timeout of 10 seconds. During those 10 seconds, I could see the session running by using Get-NAVServerSession in the Business Central Admin Shell but after the 10 seconds, the session had gone. But the job queue was still in the "In Process".

Its great that there is functionality for timeouts but the status should really be adjusted for this.

Hopefully this helps and hopefully this is something that Microsoft will be able to fix.

    Thank you,
    Harvey Landeau
