IE11 Sharepoint Integration fails with Rollup 4 CRM 2013 SP1

Last night I upgraded a client to Rollup 4 for CRM 2013 Service Pack 1. We've noticed a problem today:

In IE11 when loading the 'Documents' page, IE11 complains about the following:

  1. 'XPathEvaluator' is undefined
  2. Unable to get property 'LoadXml' of undefined or null reference
  3. Unable to get property 'click' of undefined or null reference

It then finishes loading and I can see all the files in Sharepoint and the related buttons, but none of them work. The 'Open SharePoint' hover works, but when I click on it I get "Unable to get property 'GetParameter' of undefined or null reference" from "CurrentFolderAbsUrl = crmGrid.GetParameter("locationUrl");"

I've tested in Edge, Firefox, Chrome, and IE10 and all of them work still. IE11 however, does not work. I've reactivated the List Component in Sharepoint without any change in behavior.

We're going to have to return to Rollup 3 for CRM 2013 SP1 until this problem is resolved.

    Unfortunately this is not a page we created, this is the built in sharepoint integration that is failing.

    I decided temporarily to dump that code at the top of main.aspx in CRM and it appears to be working. Kindof embarrassing that IE11 doesn't work with the latest version of CRM 2013, but Edge does. Hopefully they can fix their rollup or issue some other fix for it.

    Andrew,

    Can you please provide some detail as far as what code you changed? MS Support has been no help on this and has said this should be fixed in RU5 with no release date in sight.

    Thanks,

    Alex

    Hi Alex,

    I went to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\CRMWeb and opened up main.aspx. In the header I added the following line:

    <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=10" />

    That forces all page to run in rendering mode for IE 10, which works still. I'd recommend creating a backup of main.aspx before modifying the file.
