Account number for transaction type Project - payroll allocation does not exist, but it does exist.

Hi All,

I do have this 615 account in my COA and in the Account Structure. So I'm not sure why AX stated that the Payroll account does not exist.  Does anyone have any suggestion where else I should look?  This is AX 2012.  I have looked up an error someone had posted, but I don't have the punctuation error in my account structure.  I use the semicolons (;) in my financial dimensions. Thanks so much!

My account structure (account range) does cover this 615 account.

    Hi Kim,

Has the journal that you try to post been created before the new account structure was setup and made active?

If this is the case then please delete the journal and create it once again.

Another thing that you can try doing is setting up a separate line in your account structure for account 615. Wonder if this is the main issue.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Andre',

Yes, it worked before.  I made changes to the financial dimensions restrictions.  What do you mean by naming convention?  Thanks

    Hi Kim,

Did it work before? I do see a naming convention with 2021 in your account structure. Did you make specific changes for the new year?
