System error 1067(the process terminated unexpectedly) when starting AOS service for dynamics AX

Hi All ,

I am getting the error when  i start AOS service every time.

'System error 1067 has occurred, the process terminated unexpectedly'

I tried starting AOS  directly from services and also from command prompt both gives the same error.

I did some search and found that the issue is at the kernel level of the system OS

Anyone experience the same error previously?

Please look if anyone can help me.

    Way more information is going to be needed to help resolve your issue.

    Are there other events in the Application or System event log that might indicate what the issue is?

    More questions:

    - was this working and stopped working all of a sudden?

    - resources on the machine are fine (memory, disk space)?

    - have you installed any hot fixes (AX, SQL)?

    Please also check if related services like SQL server is running. Probably the SQL server instance is failing to start?

    Hi  Lulian ,

    There are no any hotfixes installed.

    I did a fresh installation for ax 2012 as well SQL server management studio.

    My system have enough memory and space .

    System Event log indicates this

    Please tell us whether it worked before and what exactly you did.

    Consider updating AX kernel to the latest version.

    You can also try LCS crash and hang analysis - it will tell you more about what happened inside the process and it may suggest some hotfixes you should install (if you don't use the latest kernel).

    Hi Lekhraj,

    Can you check if the user provided for running the AOS is still active and has the required permissions? The password is not expired for the AOS service account?

    What other event logs are provided? Can you also check the SQL server for SQL logs and Windows events?

    the best you can do is to removed AOS and then re install it again.
